About the Event
You are invited to learn more about the Chetac and Birch Lakes fishery at a public meeting with Max Wolter – WDNR fisheries biologist for Sawyer County - to be held Thursday, November 16 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Birchwood School commons (300 S. Wilson Street).
Discussion will include highlights from the current fishery plan, bag limits, features of Chetac and Birch lakes, Walleye stocking, future survey plans, and a question-and-answer period. Refreshments will be served. This event is sponsored by the Big Chetac and Birch Lakes Association (BCABLA).
We are offering this as a virtual meeting. Sound may not be great to hear the inperson attendees - but should work for the presentation portion.
